This past September I had set aside some plans to visit friends and family back in Edmonton. It hadn’t been quite a year since my previous visit but my girlfriends first trip to Canada ended up being a really enjoyable experience all around and the time we spent enjoying the Rocky Mountains warranted a second trip. We set out to further explore some of the surrounding areas and perhaps enjoy a little bit of Autumn foliage in the process. On the way there we had enough time to drive over to Drumheller, a town a short distance from Calgary that is well known for fossils, dinosaurs, and the bad lands. I snapped a few shots along the way and we ended up having quite a lot of fun on a beautiful Fall afternoon. It’s a bit of a trek all the way from Tokyo, Japan but if you’re visiting the Rocky Mountains then half a day in Drumheller is time well spent.
