Every sunset is different, I have no shortage of this experience back home in Canada. Waiting months for a similar sunset to arrive certainly brought that to the forefront of my appreciation of enjoying a good sunset. It’s difficult to tell if you’ll see anything like it anytime soon if ever again. Traveling around the world has helped to really refine that appreciation for me. Beyond each sunset being unique, there is a certain tone and feel to them in different edges of the world. The air is different between places, it’s never quite the same between days let alone countries.
This one, although not particularly unique to individuals who chase the thrill of a setting sun will hold a place in my mind for a long time to come. It helped me to realize the beauty of living in the moment and enjoying what’s in front of my eyes. I learned for a while now to try and get the shot but in the back of my head I always maintained that I could come back and try again tomorrow. Travelling has helped to teach me that it’s not always the case, more often than not it definitely isn’t the case at all.
Appreciate the moments and time because they are fleeting.
