I took a step forward recently and sunk my teeth into a Leica. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do ever since my first trip to Japan where a good friend lent me his. It turned out to be a gripping experience despite the fact I managed to mess up a number of rolls a long the way. Despite it all I remember the physical barriers the camera helped drop. It felt as though it brought me closer to the subject. There’s a number of reasons for this which I hope to discuss in a future blog after spending more time with the camera.
It’s going to be a rather good time going out with this beauty of a tool.
