This past Monday we had one of the rare snowy days here in Tokyo. Most winters it might snow a little bit and quickly melt away over the next day or perhaps two. In a sense this year wasn’t much different aside from it being a good deal heavier than most years. It can bring a lot of inconvenience and delays along with it but if you’ve got a bit of time to kill, a resilience to a little cold, and a camera in hand then it can be quite fun to explore. It’s one of the few instances when you can see Tokyo sitting still.
