One of the wonderful aspects of Japan is the blossoming of the cherry trees all around the country during early spring. Sakura trees are everywhere around here and go a bit unnoticeably on most given days. However, come spring they blossom for a period of time in a beautiful display of white and light pink flowers. People flock to various parks and locations to enjoy the sites, along with some delicious food and a drink or two. It really is truly a site to behold, especially in locations such as Meguro River where rows of blossoming sakura trees line the roads as far as the eye can see.
I spent several days running around Meguro with my camera trying to document the various aspects of the coming of spring which i hope to show and write about in the coming entries. In the mean time, this happened to be my favorite spot.
I also made a quick and simple video of the location. The atmosphere there was wonderful.
